Neighborhood Information
Oakwood is a small city, divided into five sections, or neighborhoods. It is built on a large map and can be hard to play on some computers. This world requires the World Adventures and Ambitions expansion packs. There is no custom content in the neighborhood, but it does include some of the free Riverview objects.
All base game spawners are included, and there are multiple versions of most of the rabbit holes to keep travel times for your sims to a minimum. One known issue with large Sims 3 worlds is trouble with children getting to school on time. There are two schools in Oakwood, and we recommend using the NRaas Master Computer to assign all students to the one closest to their home.
This world is designed to be updated easily when the next Sims 3 expansion pack, Late Night, is released. Most of the downtown lots are placeholder shells, but all of them are usable.
Lots
There are a total of 264 lots in Oakwood City. Of those, 181 lots have buildings on them – 105 residential, 76 community. If your computer has trouble running this world with a lot of Sims, deleting some of the lots completely through the neighborhood editor is a good way to fix it.
